Note: I do not own a copy of the actual game; instead, I've been studying his character thru several FFXV walkthrough videos by many YouTube folks. This is simply my take on him based on such info, along with info pulled from the Final Fantasy Wikia and official stuff released by Square Enix.

Full Name: Cor Leonis
Titles: Marshal of the Crownsguard; The Immortal
Height: 191cm/6'3 (Official)
Age: 45 (start of the game)
Appearance: Normally like this when he's on duty (which is all the time in-game). He has worn a beret in his youth, though, when he personally fought alongside Regis and his royal retinue.
History: Located Here
Personality: Cor is, first and foremost, a stern commander and swordsman. He does not give compliments or praise lightly, and his critique can be blunt and strict at times. But he only speaks such things when he feels that such words are needed--like if Prompto did very well in battle, or if he has to growl at Noctis for one of the latter's jerk-ass moments. And he means no ill will to allies and friends; in fact, he hopes that his words can help them improve themselves, or give them what little encouragement he's offering. He used to be much more brash and abrasive in his youth, however, even going so far as to chewing out then-Prince Regis and the other Crownsguards member for withdrawing from the battles at Accordo at the time. That temper died down, however, after his failed attempt to best Gilgamesh the Blademaster; it's still there, though, ready to flare up during the few instances that it's needed.

He's also one stubborn warrior, infamous for returning from the brink of death in order to fight another day. His will is so strong that it actually impressed the Blademaster himself--at least, enough to be allowed to live. He will not give up--not if he thinks that something can be done to change the course of battle. His dedication to the Way of the Sword is renown, being one of the greatest warriors of all Lucis. His will and swordsmanship is only matched by his loyalty; while not easy to earn, it's as deep and unbreakable as the tides once given to someone. Cor is forever loyal to Noctis and his friends, having trained all of them as fellow Crownsguards.

He has two lingering regrets. One, a very old one, is failing to defeat Gilgamesh in his youth. This is more of an old fear than anything else; while that failed attempt did earn him his legendary nickname, he really dislikes it as it serves as an eternal reminder of his first great failure. His second regret, though, is not being there for King Regis in his hour of death. Granted, he was ordered to be away from the Citadel at the time, and they both knew what that might entail. But still, it's a guilt that Cor carries with him for the rest of his days, even going so far as to beg Noctis' forgiveness for it.

Outside of battle, though, Cor's not the best as socializing with people. While he can be stern and tight-lipped around strangers, he does loosen up around those close to him, feeling more at ease and able to speak his mind more freely. His sense of humor is dry, borderline morbid, but he can give little smiles every now and then. He tends to be one of those strict yet caring father figures for younger acquaintances, doing his best to help them better themselves. He will not hesitate to kill, though, in order to protect those who are important to him; it wouldn't even matter if it's man or monster. He will fight off an entire army, if needed, to save the sorry sons-of-guns that means the world to him. And if it costs him his life to spare theirs? Well, then he's doing his job right, in his mind.

Magic? Not by himself, no. He's able to use the Armiger (aka, canon's Hammerspace) to store his weapons as needed, but Cor himself does not use magic. Instead, he uses powerful sword techniques like any badass samurai legendary swordsman.

Weapons: Kotetsu is the name of his katana, and it's said to have been a tool for many of his legendary feats. Kikuichimonji is a more compact blade that can be thrown by Cor with effective accuracy. He used to wield the Genji Blade in his youth, but he...kinda lost it to Gilgamesh; thankfully, Gladiolus has it now, and Cor's perfectly okay with that.

In-Game Level? He starts at Level 52, when you first meet him in the game. Yes, starts at 52. Not surprising, once you realize that he's been fighting and adventuring for over thirty years.

Fanon stuff? It's widely suspected, if not borderline accepted, that Cor is the one who found baby!Prompto and brought him back to Insomnia. He didn't keep him, of course, instead choosing to give him up for adoption to a more 'ordinary' looking family. He still kicks himself to this day, though, once he realized how Prompto's adopted parents became less than ideal for raising the poor blonde boy.
